Management oversight

Letting agents manage the property. Almost nobody manages the agent. For owners abroad, Salet becomes the layer that does: appointing, supervising and auditing on your behalf.

How oversight works

Agent selection

We shortlist and appoint the letting or managing agent on evidence: fees, responsiveness, local coverage and how they handle the awkward months, not just the good ones.

Terms negotiated

Management agreements are negotiable. We negotiate them for you and remove the quiet extras before they start.

Statements reviewed

Every monthly statement checked: rent in, deductions queried, maintenance charges challenged when they deserve to be.

Annual inspection

At least one Salet visit a year with a photographic condition report, separate from anything the agent reports about itself.

Escalation, filtered

Routine noise stays with the agent. Decisions that need the owner reach you as one clear recommendation with the trade-offs stated.
